Herts Visual Arts flagship event is Herts Open Studios. Every September, members paint the county yellow with bright bunting and signage. Venues are open in many different locations. Some are single artists in their working studio or possibly sharing their space with one or two others. Many members like me, exhibit with a group of artists. This year I will be with five others at Two Chimneys pub on Stotfold Road, Letchworth, SG6 4JS.
We are opening Tuesdays-Fridays from 10 September-27 September. Come along to meet the artists; at least two will be there between 11am-4pm - demonstrating their techniques, showing the materials they use, running workshops or encouraging visitors to 'have a go' and decorate a beer mat.
