There is a fascination for me in the effect of water on reflections, the subtle distortions of form, the shift in colour tone, the layering of what's reflected with what's in the water and below the surface.
This highly textured palette knife painting shows the patterns of trees, foliage and sky reflected in water. Made up of four canvases, this can be hung as a single 51 cm square, as a block with small spaces between each quadrant or in a row. The painting can be split into vertical or horizontal pairs, or each part can be hung on its own.
