This new painting is one of a set of three spirals using a blue green palette accented with complementary reddish-orange.
Spirals are a fascinating shape which can be found in various forms of the natural world including ammonites, weather patterns, and galaxies. There are many examples of spirals being drawn back to prehistoric cave drawings in several parts of the world.
My painting is mixed media on a 25 cm square canvas presented in a float frame.
It will be on show at Eagle Gallery for three weeks from Monday 10 March
