Inspiration and experimentation lead me on new artistic journeys. Along the way, I …
• create expressive contemporary abstract paintings
• draw inspiration from the world around me, and
• recall memories of patterns, emotions and places.
I work intuitively, letting each painting guide its own development. To create a finished artwork, I explore and exploit colour harmonies, add light, texture and contrasts, then review and refine until I'm done.

I am fortunate to be able to show my work at both the Eagle Gallery in Bedford and Artisans in the Yard in Shefford and in addition I take part in various exhibitions throughout the year. The galleries and exhibitions are promoted on my website and social media. The current and next events in 2024 are:
BIG ART FAIR Old Town Hall, Brand Street, Hitchin - open Friday 19 July from 7-9pm (Preview Evening), then Saturday 20 July from 10am-5pm and Sunday 21 July from 10am-4pm.
Eagle Gallery, St Peters Street, Bedford - general exhibitions throughout the year. Open Tuesday-Saturday from 10.30am-5pm and Sundays from 11am-3pm.
Herts Open Studios, Art @ Two Chimneys, Stotfold Road, Letchworth. The exhibits will be on show and artists present every Tuesday through to Friday from 10-27 September, 11 am-4 pm. As well as finished work on show and for sale, there will be demos, workshops and 'have a go' opportunities for visitors.
MS Therapy Centre Bedford exhibition - 5-6 October.
My studio in Fairfield is open to visitors by appointment throughout the year.
Some are displayed at the Business Technology Centre in Stevenage, Wenta Enterprise Centre in Potters Bar and Herts Chamber of Commerce in Hatfield (ongoing)
